Common questions

Everything you need to know about what Bondlyy is. And what it isn't.

No. Bondlyy is strictly a platonic companionship service. All our experiences are non-romantic and non-sexual. We provide professional, respectful human presence. Nothing more, nothing less.

No. Our companions are trained professionals, not therapists or counsellors. We do not provide medical, psychological, or counselling services. If you need professional mental health support, we encourage you to seek a qualified provider.

Every companion undergoes ID verification, background checks, and training in our ethical guidelines. They operate as vetted contractors under strict professional standards.

It's the structured matching system behind every pairing. Your connection profile. Interests, personality, communication style and preferences. Is matched against each companion's profile, so you're paired with someone genuinely suited to you, not just whoever happens to be nearby.

It's how we measure what your time together actually does for you. After each session, a few quick questions about your mood, the connection you felt and the experience itself feed a private index in your account. So you can see which pairings and activities work best for you over time, and future matches get smarter.

Sessions typically take place in public or agreed-upon spaces. Cafes, restaurants, parks, event venues, and similar. Private residential bookings require prior approval and clear boundaries.

Pricing starts at £30 per hour for standard sessions. Half-day bookings are £110, full days £220, and travel days £300–£450. Monthly subscriptions range from £150–£300. Online sessions start from £20.

The Bondlyy Match Engine™ pairs you with the companion best suited to your needs and preferences, and you can browse profiles before you book. If you'd like to request a specific companion for repeat bookings, we're happy to accommodate where possible.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance receive a full refund. Later cancellations may incur a partial charge. Both clients and companions may end a booking early if they feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Absolutely. We are fully UK GDPR compliant. Your personal data is never shared, sold, or used beyond the service you requested. Testimonials are published anonymously unless you give explicit consent.

For companions

Thinking of joining us?

Questions prospective companions ask most. Pay, checks, and what the role involves.

Complete our online application, including your experience, references, and availability. If your application passes review, we'll invite you to a video interview, then run identity verification, reference checks, and a DBS check before onboarding you. You must be 18 or over and have the right to work in the UK.

Companions are paid a set fee per session type. Hourly, half-day, full-day, overnight/travel, and online sessions each have their own rates, which are confirmed during onboarding before you accept any booking. Your exact fee for a booking is always shown to you upfront.

Clients pay Bondlyy through the platform, and we pay you by bank transfer within 7 days of a completed session. Bondlyy deducts a commission from the client price to cover matching, vetting, insurance, marketing, and platform costs. So the fee you see for a session is your take-home amount, not the client price. Your commission rate is confirmed in writing during onboarding, before your first booking, and is the same for every session you complete.

We pay by bank transfer within 7 days of each completed session. Pre-agreed expenses (such as travel for longer bookings) are reimbursed alongside your fee on receipt of valid receipts. You must not accept money, tips, or gifts from clients directly. Anything offered is reported and added to your next payment.

No. Companions work with Bondlyy as independent contractors, not employees. You choose which bookings to accept and when you work, and you're responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, and any VAT registration with HMRC.

We verify your identity, check your references, and require a DBS check at the level needed for your bookings. Which we pay for and guide you through. You must keep it valid and tell us within 48 hours of any criminal charge, caution, or investigation.

If a client cancels with less than 24 hours' notice, you receive a cancellation payment equal to 25% of your fee for that session. Completed sessions are always paid in full, regardless of when the booking was made.

Sessions are strictly platonic. Conversation, shared activities, outings, travel, and social support. You check in and check out through the app's live-session feature at the start and end of every booking. Romantic or sexual conduct of any kind is prohibited and ends your place on the platform immediately. The full terms are in the Companion Agreement.

Alongside your onboarding training, confirmed bookings can come with a structured session plan. Designed activities, conversation starters and pacing notes matched to the client's interests. Created by our team and waiting in your companion dashboard. You'll also see the client's accessibility needs upfront, so you can show up well prepared.

The full terms. Including fees, commission, cancellations and conduct. Are in the Companion Agreement.
