Community Guidelines
How we keep Bondlyy a safe, respectful, platonic space. And what happens when someone crosses a line.
Last updated: 6 September 2026
Our promise
Bondlyy exists so people feel genuinely accompanied. Safely, respectfully and without ambiguity. Every session is strictly platonic and professional, and these guidelines are the line we all hold together.
They apply to everyone on the platform. Clients and companions alike.
Treating each other well
The simple version: be the kind of person you'd want to spend time with.
- Arrive as agreed, communicate changes honestly and in good time
- Respect boundaries. Emotional, physical and conversational
- Consent matters in everything, including small things like photographs
- No one is obligated to discuss topics they're uncomfortable with
- Kindness to companions is not optional. They're professionals doing meaningful work
Identity & safety procedures
Connection works when trust is earned, not assumed. That's why every session runs on the same safety rails:
- Every client verifies photo ID before a booking is confirmed. No verified ID, no session
- Chat between client and companion only opens after a booking is confirmed and paid
- Companions check in and check out of every appointment through the app
- Optional live location can be shared during a session as an added safety measure
- Sessions can be paused or ended at any time by either person, for any reason
- In an emergency, always call 999 first. Bondlyy is not an emergency service
How we screen companions
Companions are the heart of Bondlyy, and we choose them carefully. Every applicant completes:
- A detailed application, video interview and identity verification
- Two reference checks and right-to-work verification
- A DBS check where the role requires it. Including for work with older adults and vulnerable people
- Mandatory training in First Aid, GDPR and Safeguarding within their first three months
- Ongoing review, including client feedback after every session
Reporting & blocking
If something feels wrong, tell us. You don't need to be certain, and you don't need proof. Reporting is always free of consequences for the person raising it in good faith.
- Use the flag button on any session message to report it for review. Our team can see the full conversation
- Contact us any time via the contact page, in confidence
- You can end a session at any point, no explanation needed
- We can suspend accounts while we investigate, and we cooperate fully with the police where a crime may have occurred
Prohibited behaviour
The following will get someone removed from Bondlyy. Sometimes immediately:
- Romantic, sexual or intimate conduct, advances or requests. Bondlyy is strictly platonic
- Harassment, pressure or intimidation of any kind
- Discrimination based on any protected characteristic
- Requests for personal care, medical help or financial handling (see our Prohibited Services policy)
- Offering or requesting payment outside the platform
- Sharing another member's personal details without permission
- Any illegal activity, including substances
What happens after a report
Every report is reviewed by a human, promptly. Depending on what we find, outcomes range from a conversation and a warning, to suspension, to permanent removal. And where someone's safety is at risk, we involve the authorities.
We'll always let you know your report was received. Some details of our findings stay confidential to protect everyone involved.
